The calculator counts every calendar day in the selected range and subtracts Saturdays and Sundays (when the option is enabled) as well as any custom holiday dates you enter. The result is the number of net working days, inclusive of the start date and exclusive of the end date.
The tool does not have a built-in public holiday calendar because holidays differ by country and region. You can manually enter any dates you want excluded in the Custom Holidays field, separated by commas — for example: 2025-01-01, 2025-12-25.
Yes. There is no restriction on the date range. You can select a start date in one year and an end date several years later. The calculation will correctly account for weekends and any holidays you specify across the entire span.
