FAQ
What resolution will the output images have?

The output resolution depends on the Scale setting. A scale of 1.0 renders each page at 72 DPI (the native PDF resolution). A scale of 2.0 doubles the pixel dimensions and produces approximately 144 DPI output, which is suitable for most screen and print uses. Higher scales produce sharper images but larger file sizes.

Can I convert all pages of a PDF at once?

Yes. Switch the Conversion Mode to "All Pages (ZIP)" and click Start Convert. The tool will render every page as a separate image and package them all into a single ZIP file for download. Each image is named page_1, page_2, and so on in the order they appear in the PDF.

What image formats are supported for the output?

You can choose between PNG and JPEG as the output format. PNG is lossless and preserves all detail, making it ideal for documents with text and sharp graphics. JPEG produces smaller files and is better suited for pages containing photographs. Choose based on what matters more: quality or file size.

About PDF to Image
