FAQ
What input format does this tool use?

Type your mind map as an indented outline. Use 2 spaces per level of depth. The first line (no indent) becomes the root node. Each indented line becomes a child of the nearest less-indented line above it. Click "Example" to see a sample outline.

Can I export the mind map?

Yes. Use "Download SVG" for a vector file that scales perfectly at any size — ideal for presentations. Use "Download PNG" for a raster image suitable for embedding in documents. Both are generated locally in your browser.

Is there a node limit?

There is no hard limit, but very large mind maps (100+ nodes) may become hard to read. For complex topics, consider splitting into multiple maps or using deeper indentation sparingly.

About Mind Map Maker
Type your ideas as an indented outline — the first line is the root, each level of 2-space indent adds a child node. The tool renders a horizontal tree mind map as SVG entirely in your browser. Export as scalable SVG or high-resolution PNG.
