IP Address Lookup

Supports IPv4 and IPv6
FAQ
What data is returned by the IP lookup?

For each queried IP address the tool returns the IP itself, country and country code, region, city, postal/ZIP code, latitude and longitude, timezone, ISP name, organization, and AS (Autonomous System) number. This information is based on geolocation databases and reflects the registered location of the IP block, not necessarily the user's physical location.

Can I look up any IP address, including IPv6?

Yes. Both IPv4 (e.g. 8.8.8.8) and IPv6 (e.g. 2001:4860:4860::8888) addresses are supported. If you leave the input field blank, the tool automatically detects and displays your own current public IP address. Private or reserved IP ranges (e.g. 192.168.x.x, 10.x.x.x) will not return location data.

Is my IP query logged or tracked?

This tool queries the ipapi.co public API directly from your browser. We do not log your queries or store any results on our servers. However, the third-party API provider may log requests according to their own privacy policy. For anonymous lookups, consider using a VPN before querying.
